Jomala LLC · Minnesota
We build WatchLyst.
A small Minnesota company making a film taste engine. Streaming solved access. Nobody solved taste. That is the problem we work on.
WatchLyst
An iPhone app that learns your film taste from quick swipes and builds your canon in minutes instead of years of logging. Swipe the films you know. It learns what you like and ranks what you have not seen. No stars, no reviews.
Coming to iPhone. The product, the demo, and the WaitLyst live on the WatchLyst site.
SwipeLyst™
The taste engine behind WatchLyst, built in-house. It reads each gesture, a swipe or a tap, and turns the films you know into a picture of what you like. Then it ranks the films you have not seen against that picture.
Your taste is a personal vector, not a crowd average. Taste is not a democracy.
Joshua Lasater, Managing Member
Jomala LLC is a Minnesota limited liability company run by its founder. He built WatchLyst around one outcome: a personal film canon that takes minutes to start and never asks for a rating.
